Mugen is basically spelt as M.U.G.E.N which in japanese means infinite. Its basically a fighting game engine which lets you customise fonts, lifebars, characters, stages music etc. so before you customise it, its just a dull game with only one character. luckily you also get the choice to create your own characters or rip them from classic games. In Mugen Tournament the characters are used from the best of creators who credit has been given to them in the "Credit" section. It took a long time to find the perfect characters, get the best stages and gather some of the best tunes from many video games so even if you didnt make the characters its still hard work to set up an arcade mode and fixing any bugs that may occur. to learn how to make M.U.G.E.N your self i will give you some links to videos made by Marat569 who should help you get started.
